Is there anyone that would care to explain the difference between regular cap and a "T" cap?

Physically, they're different. The old 800-series loading caps were made of thick bakelite. THe newer ones for the 902/908's were injection molded plastic, if i recall correctly.

Sonically, I think they are the same, aren't they?
